Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of PromiseKept, operated by Earth Droids Company LLC. By using PromiseKept you agree to them.

1. The service

PromiseKept is a record-keeping tool for tracking payments your customers owe and say they will make. It is not a collection agency, lender, or legal service, and it does not contact your customers.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and sign in with a Google account you control. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Plans: $14.99 per month or $120 per year, plus any applicable taxes.
First week: new subscribers may start with a first week for $5, charged at signup. Unless you cancel within those 7 days, your subscription continues automatically at $14.99 per month, charged on day 7 and every month after.
Renewal: all plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Manage billing in the app; access continues through the end of the period you've paid for.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Without an active plan you can still sign in, view, export and delete your data, but not add or change invoices.

4. Your data

You own the data you put in PromiseKept. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to how you collect and use your customers' information and how you pursue payment.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use PromiseKept to harass anyone, break the law, upload malware, or try to access other users' data.

6. Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important records; you can export them at any time.

7. Disclaimer

PromiseKept is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost payments or profits.

9. Termination

You may stop using PromiseKept and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA.

11. Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new effective date.
