Privacy Policy

PromiseKept ("we," "us") is operated by Earth Droids Company LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use PromiseKept at earthdroids.com/promisekept.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and Google account ID from Sign in with Google. We ask Google only for your basic profile and email; we do not get access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
Tracker data: the invoices, customers, amounts, dates, notes and links you enter, import or sync from QuickBooks, and a history of changes.
Billing details: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and plan, never your full card number.
Basic technical data: request logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept by our host for security and reliability.

QuickBooks data

If you connect QuickBooks Online, you authorize PromiseKept through Intuit to read your company's accounting data. We use that access only to read invoices: number, customer name, billing email, total, balance and dates. We do not write to, change or delete anything in QuickBooks. Access tokens are encrypted before storage. You can disconnect at any time under Account → Disconnect QuickBooks in the app, or from your Intuit account; invoices already copied stay in PromiseKept until you delete them or your account.

How we use data

To run the tracker and show you your data.
To process your subscription.
To answer support requests and keep the service secure.

We do not sell personal information, we do not run ads, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

Who we share with

Google – sign-in.
Intuit – only if you connect QuickBooks, to read your invoices.
Stripe – payments.
Cloudflare – hosting and storage.
Authorities, only when legally required.

Your choices

In the app, under Account, you can download all of your data (CSV or JSON) and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account ends any active subscription and immediately removes your tracker data from our database; copies in backups expire within 30 days. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons, such as payment receipts held by Stripe, are kept as required by law.

Data about other people

You may enter information about your own customers. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to keep that information. PromiseKept does not contact them.

Children

PromiseKept is for business use and is not directed to children under 13.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and each account can only see its own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what's needed to run the service.

Changes

We'll post updates here and change the effective date. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers.
